Estate Administration and LitigationEstate administration is the process of probating the estate, collecting and retitling the assets, paying debts, providing an accounting and distributing the assets to the beneficiaries. Often, it involves filing and paying estate taxes as well. New Jersey estates may be subject to a variety of taxes. Decisions made at the time of estate administration may reduce current or future tax burden. Our goal is to ease the burden on families coping with loss of a loved one. We provide a tailored approach, handling as much or as little of the administration as each individual client wishes. We also assist clients with estate litigation including will contests, trust reformation and fiduciary removal. |
